Rape and Domestic Abuse Center is dedicated to breaking the cycle of domestic and sexual violence through victim/survivor services, batterer intervention programs, education, outreach, and prevention.
Vision Statement
To become the area leader in services and education related to sexual assault, domestic violence, and stalking, with acknowledged excellence in direct services provision, public relations, and outreach efforts, while attracting new grants and donors.
Value Statement
Rape and Domestic Abuse Center values its service to and support of our community's survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault and/or those close to them. We believe it is also our responsibility to educate the broader community to help prevent domestic violence and sexual assault among all populations. We are responsible to our clients, our donors, and other key stakeholders who play an important part in stopping the destructive cycle of violence. RDAC's professional and dedicated staff shall:
Provide compassion, support, counseling, and advocacy to primary and secondary victims of domestic violence and sexual assault to assist in healing and recovery;
Seek to educate and create a process of change for perpetrators of domestic violence through use of the Duluth Model;
Increase understanding and awareness of domestic violence, sexual assault, and related issues through educational outreach efforts.
The work of all RDAC staff and volunteers shall be performed without regard to race, sex, religion, age, sexual orientation, disability, or ability to pay.
