Volunteer Opportunities:

Rape & Domestic Abuse Center is looking for Volunteers! Volunteerism is a great way to give back to the community. Donating your time can certainly make a difference.

 

Rape Crisis Program:

The crisis team assist victims of sexual  assault in the hospital emergency room, through the 24 hour confidential crisis line, or at the police station. On call times include weeknights, weekends, and holidays. Training is required. This volunteer position can seem intimidating, but the rewards are very special.

Court Watchers:

The Purpose of Court Watcher program is to support victims of sexual and/or domestic assault through the court system. It also is an opportunity to learn about the criminal justice system, to watch criminal and civil cases in court, to monitor cases the media, and to promote public awareness of the court system. Training is provided.

Agency Volunteer:

Agency Volunteers help with mailings, assist in general office activities, and help with special events.
